Annual Otto P. Burgdorf Student Science Research Competition
Background
The New York Biology
Teachers Association was founded in 1899. Through its activities,
the NYBTA seeks to promote an understanding and appreciation of Biology
among all citizens.

Membership
Annual Dues: $20.
All memberships expire December 31.
Special Offer: Discover Magazine subscription for one year at $12.00 with NYBTA
membership if you join or renew.
(Members with existing subscriptions can have their subscriptions extended for
one year at this price.)
In order to promote scientific literacy, NYBTA is making a one year subscription to
Discover Magazine available for $15.00 to the general public.
Retired
Biology Teachers who have been members of NYBTA for 10 years prior
to retirement receive honorary membership. You must request
continuation of membership each year. Honorary members receive our
notices and Adaptation.
In order
to help defray the costs of printing and postage we would appreciate a
donation of at least $6. Please understand that honorary
membership provides mailings only. For some NYBTA events where we
incur a per person charge NYBTA is unable to pay this charge on behalf
of honorary members who donate less than regular membership dues.
