Student Science Research Competition
Winners
There were 140 papers
from school districts representing Nassau, New York City, Westchester,
and
Suffolk counties that qualified for judging this year. Although it took
a bit longer than anticipated, all papers were scored twice by judges
from two different schools. This year, the
2007 Otto Burgdorf Award for
Outstanding Research Award was given to Erica Berck from Roslyn
High School of Science.
Highest
honors and honors winners will
receive
plaques in recognition of their outstanding work, all other
participants will be sent certificates of participation. Plaques,
certificates, and awards will be sent to participants' schools within
the next few weeks.
