Guidelines for Authors
If you are interested in making a contribution to ADAPTATION, you are invited to:
  • write an article or short report on a biological topic
  • submit a research report, laboratory exercise or demonstration
  • send in photographs of nature or biotopic
  • pen and ink sketch nature or biology subjects
  • share a commentary or letter with members
  • announce events or opportunities of interest
Articles, reports, exercises, letters, commentaries and demos should be 1-5 pages in length including photographs and/or diagrams (longer features will also be considered for publication). Photographs should be black & white or color and 3 x 5" or 4 x 6" only. Authors and those submitting features or photographs should identify themselves with title, school affiliation and a brief job description.

Articles are used as determined by available space and the discretion of the editor.

All text submitted must be typed, double spaced with one inch margins on standard 8.5 x 11" paper. If possible, please include the work identified on an IBM/PC DOS formatted disk that can be read into Word Perfect 6.1 for DOS or Windows (or saved on an IBM/PC DOS formatted disk in ASCII standard form).
